It’s busy times for Juno at the moment. Another great day yesterday with some fabulous coastal sailing off Blakeney followed by a very relaxing afternoon beached on the sand at Blakeney Lower Harbour close to the huge colony of seals who were watching over us until the evening tide returned to float us off. We had the whole harbour to ourselves – a stunning and constantly changing wilderness which takes your breath away.
A long lazy lunch in Juno’s cockpit was followed by walking and exploring in the sand dunes beside the bird sanctuary with a visit to the iconic Old Lifeboat House.
Skittles on the vast expanses of flat sand were enjoyed by all, followed by drinks back on Juno soaking up the last of the sun as we motored slowly into the harbour and back to our mooring. We didn’t want the day to end.
